In an era where the tranquility of our community faces challenges like never before, CSC Tactical, in a pioneering partnership with the South African Police Service (SAPS), is proud to introduce a groundbreaking initiative: the Rapid Response Unit (RRU). Born from a shared vision of a safer city, this innovative service is our answer to the escalating crime rates that threaten our homes, businesses, and peace of mind.
How It Started
CSC approached Brig Bolton Station Commander Witbank in order to assist, and a brand new support unit has now been formed and launched. CSC Tactical has helped SAPS develop the RRU Tactical team and vehicle. This brand new vehicle is equipped with the latest in surveillance and security technology.
The RRU: A Beacon of Hope
Equipped with state-of-the-art surveillance and security technology, the RRU’s flagship vehicle represents the cutting edge in crime prevention. Featuring advanced license plate recognition capabilities, it serves as a mobile sentinel, vigilant against the presence of stolen vehicles. On its inaugural patrol, the RRU made an immediate impact, recovering three stolen vehicles in a single night—a testament to its effectiveness and the potential for positive change it represents.
A Strategic Alliance for Enhanced Security
Recognizing the urgent need for decisive action against the surge in crimes such as carjackings, we reached out to Brig Bolton, Station Commander at Witbank, proposing a collaborative effort to bolster the SAPS’s capabilities. The result is a dynamic new support unit, tailor-made to confront the challenges our community faces.

The RRU team is dedicated to making Emalahleni a safer place for all. Operating around the clock, they provide rapid response and assistance, reinforcing the SAPS’s efforts and ensuring that help is always at hand. This 24-hour vigilance is more than just a service—it’s a commitment to our community’s well-being and a step towards reclaiming our streets from the grasp of crime.
